Do You Even Lift Bro?

This game is inspired by bodybuilding. I always think about how bizarre it is that when bodybuilders are preparing for a competition they have to do a cut, to get as lean as possible, but a human body loses a lot of fat at once it also loses muscle mass, which is not good because bodybuilders need that muscle mass to win. And this cycle of getting as big as possible during off season and lean for competition is such an absurd concept that I thought it would be interesting to make a game about balancing the gain and the cut. To reproduce this in game, I have set up a "bodybuilder" that just keeps exercising, to prepare for a competition (there is a count down), as the player you would have to manually feed him, but only do it at the right time and with the right amount, so that he doesn't fail the cut nor die out of starvation. When building the game, I tried to play with the rate which the bodybuilder loses weight at and how much food you can feed him every time you click the "protein" button, tweaking the variables so that the game feels just right and gives you a good idea of how an inaccurate bodybuilding system works. The weight of the bodybuilder is the stock, it automatically goes down because the bodybuilder is doing a cut, that is the outflow, you feed him protein to increase weight, that is the inflow, the stock has to be at the right amount when the time goes out to win.

If I had more time I would give the options to control other things the bodybuilder could do as well, as I had originally planned, this includes macros, working out, rest, and "substances", but I cut those for times sake, and resorted to just doing protein intake.
